Check the file before you run it
A download page that does not publish a digest is quietly asking you to trust every network between our machine and yours. Here is the digest, and here is an instrument that checks it for you.

Download, then hash
Take the APK from this page and compute its SHA-256 — Get-FileHash in PowerShell, sha256sum in a terminal, or the Proof Lab in this browser. Compare all 64 characters and reject any mismatch.
Allow the install
Android will ask permission to install from your browser or file manager. That is the ordinary path for a directly signed APK — no store, and so no store able to substitute the build quietly.
Create a private identity
A username and a password. No phone number, no SIM, no country. Write the recovery phrase down somewhere physical — it is the only key to your encrypted identity backup, and nobody here can reissue it.
